About Fiona

My name is Fiona Morgan Coleman. I’m 42 years young, married to David and together we have 2 beautiful boys aged six and four. I was born in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and I’m one of ten children. I studied anatomy in NUI Galway and when I received my honours degree I went travelling the world.

Once I returned from my travels in 2006 I became a Garda and this has been my job to date. I enjoy my job as it gives me a great opportunity to help others when they need it. In 2019 I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. This came as a shock to me as I was always fit and healthy. I am now back to full health, something I am very grateful for.

From this experience I learned that being positive is a good thing as it helped me with my recovery and showed me that life is precious. I love life and I believe that the purpose of life is to be happy. I feel that if I can shine a light into the lives of others I would be extremely content and this is why I created the notebook and called it “The Little Things”.

It comes with some inspirational quotes that I can call my own. We all have something important to write down on a daily basis whether it be appointments, shopping lists, baby feeds... the list is endless. I really hope it lifts your spirits and encourages you to power through life’s challenges. Just enjoy!!
